Ancillary factors of nanobiotechnology (WP4)

The economic success of nanobiotechnology depends to a large extent on ancillary factors such as ethical and social impact, safety of products and methods, regulatory frameworks and standardisation requirements. Therefore the objectives of this activity are:

1. to identify the ancillary factors including governmental programmes,
2. to formulate recommendations for implementation of the necessary actions, which address these factors,
3. to integrate the former recommendations into the roadmap for the European scale infrastructure on nanobiotechnology.
